Srinivasa Kalyanam happened successfully at MARG Swarnabhoomi at Seekinakuppam/Seekinapuram ECR on Saturday. More than 30,000 people gathered to get the blessings of Lord Venkateswara during his marriage.

The Utsavars of the lords were brought from Tirumal to perform this Srinivasa Kalyanam at MARG Swarnabhoomi in Seekinankuppam. The Archakas came from Tirumala to perform the rituals of Srinivasa Kalyanam.

It was a great opportunity for the public to participate in this function free of cost and to seek the blessings of the lord and the goddesses.

A similar event was held in Chennai in 2008 at the Island Grounds and in 2006 at Koyambedu. This was if not more, was as successful as that. With all the facilities in place. There were hundreds of buses that were arranged to bring in people from various parts of the city. Twenty four archakas were performing the rituals of this holy event.

The gods had a stage with a big crown at the centre and two golden wheels at the sides and a Garuda bird with big wings. As the gods Lord Venkateswara, Godess Sridevi, bhoomidevi and alamaelumangaiyaar appeared to the eyes of the onlookers, they all shout “Govinda Govinda” and there was a strong divine vibe all over the 1000 acre MARG Swarnabhoomi.

To make sure that no mishap happened, there were 1,200+ police personnel securing the place. Devotees attending the event were given prasadam in the form of food, turmeric, kumkum, akshadai, laddus and water.

திருமலா திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம் வழங்கும் ஏழுமலையான் வெங்கடேச பெருமானின் திருக்கல்யானமான ஸ்ரீசீனிவாச கல்யாண உத்சவம் வரும் ஜூலை  24ஆம் தேதி சனிக்கிழமை  மாலை 5 மணியளவில் மார்க் ஸ்வர்ணபூமியில் (MARG Swarnabhoomi )  நடைபெற உள்ளது.

அனைவரும் வந்து இந்த அருள் மழையில் நினைந்து மகிழ்வீர். ஆயிரம் ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவு உள்ள மார்க் ஸ்வர்ணபூமி பல லட்சம் மக்கள் வந்தாலும் ஒரு இடையூரும்யின்ரி நிகழ்ச்சி நடக்க கூடும் இடமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.  இந்த மார்க் ஸ்வர்ணபூமி பல நபர்களின் கனவு நிஜமாவதிர்க்கு ஏற்ப உத்சவ், நவரத்னா எனப்படும் 14,000௦௦௦ கனவு இல்லங்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன.

இந்த அருமையான திருக்கல்யாணத்தை கண்டு மகிழ நுளைவுக்கட்டினம்  எதுவும் கிடையாது.  இது நடைபெறும் இடம் கிழக்கு கடற்கரைச் சாலையில்( E.C.R Road ) உள்ள சீகினபுரம் என்னும் இதத்தில் உள்ளது. ECR Main Gate Non-Processing Zone gate வழியாக நுழையவும்.

நகரத்தில் உள்ள பல பேருந்து நிலையங்களில் இருந்து சிறப்பு பேருந்துகள் செல்லவும் ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்யபட்டுள்ளது. MARG இன் சார்பாக அனைவரையும் இந்த திருக்கல்யாணத்தைக்காண அன்புடன் வரவேற்கிறோம்.
