Marg ProperTies spearheaded a week long safety campaign in celebration of the 40th National Safety Day at various MARG sites. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness levels of safety legislation, to encourage compliance with statutory requirements and safety, health and environment systems in practice. The engineers, safety staff, and workers participated enthusiastically. Interactions were lively.
Flag hoisting, safety pledge administration to workers and staff, and project in charge/safety staff speech marked the key events of the day at MARG Limited. Engineers and workers who not only demonstrated excellent safety awareness levels but also followed standard safety guidelines in their routine work were given prizes.
Also organized at the NEW CITY was an eye camp for the workers and villagers in that area. The eye camp was meticulously and ardently planned by MARG CSR and EHS – NEW CITY team.
National safety day is organized by the Govt. Of India to promote and increase standard industrial safety measures thereby reducing related accidents making the workplace safer.
