NAR-India Is The Credible Voice Of Realtors In India.
Real estate in India makes an enormous contribution to development of the economy, national growth and GDP. Real estate has forward and backward linkages with over one hundred and sixty five industries and is the largest employment generator, perhaps only after agriculture. However, despite the significance of this industry, it has always remained a much disorganized one. Whilst the building materials, construction equipment, finance and builder segment of the industry have fairly improved their business practices and a reasonably good degree of professionalism has come about, the transaction processes continue to remain by and large backward and in need of urgent reform.
Key Takeaways Of The 2nd Convention By NAR – India
After the first National Association of Realtors (NAR)-India convention that was held at Pune on the 6th and 7th March 2009, the 2nd annual convention of the NAR – India 2010 was held at The Radisson Resort Temple Bay, Mamallapuram, Chennai, on July 16 and 17. The first National Association of Realtors (NAR)-India convention was attended by 300 realtors and 50 developers from all over India, the response for the second National Association of Realtors (NAR)-India convention 2010 was far above the ground. It sensed the need to introduce the best international standard operating procedures in the Indian real estate sector. It also intended in advocating the code of ethics and fair practice amongst the Indian realtors, equally foster better insights among the stakeholders of real estate business.
National Association of Realtors India (NAR India) delegates visited MARG Swarnabhoomi at the end of the first day of the NAR India Second Annual Conference. The 1000 acre land which never failed to impress visitors, did indeed left a mark on the delegates.
Oscar Braganza, Executive Director, Marg Group greeted the NAR India delegates on their arrival.
The delegates arrived at MARG Swarnabhoomi in the deluxe buses arranged by MARG, the climate joined MARG Executives in giving a pleasant welcome to the visitors. Being from the field of Real Estate, they were able to understand the vision behind the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Swarnabhoomi and its unique value propositions and the potential value it holds.
Soon, a second batch of buses and cars reach MARG and the delegates were guided by MARG executives. The NAR India delegates were shown around an exhibit that housed information on the projects MARG is handling. The realtors were truly impressed by the quality of the projects and the unique advantages. Totally around 600 delegates who came to MARG Swarnabhoomi.
MARG, in an effort to make Swarnabhoomi a green heaven organized tree planting involving the NAR India Delegates. All of them eagerly participated in it and felt satisfied at doing something for the nature. These trees also serve as a memory, when they visit the campus in future.
After this, they were shown around the residential apartments- MARG Navratna and MARG Utsav. The delegates checked out the model apartments and found that this was like a dream come true home that has all the facilities. It was a great pleasure for us to hear this all from people in the field of real estate. SEZ campus also drew their attention.
