Here comes a reason for celebration and a sense of pride for the Mozart of Madras, yes A.R.Rahman has done it again by bringing home two bags of GRAMMY last Monday. A.R.Rahman was awarded for the best soundtrack for motion pictures, television or other visual media category for the film Slumdog Millionaire, and in the best song for motion picture, television and other visual media category for “Jai ho”, which gave him the Oscar Award for the year 2009. Slum Dog Millionaire had presented the great singer/musician with two Oscars- a Bafta and a Golden Globe for his outstanding compositions. His achievement did not stop with this; he also won two prestigious GRAMMY awards which recently held in Los Angles which is the 52nd edition of GRAMMY award function.
A.R.Rahman’s award winning “Jai Ho” was heard all over and the city was chanting this mantra few months back with his “Jai Ho” concert which held in MARG Swarnabhoomi and the show was purely dedicated to the most prestigious man of music of our country. MARG Swarnabhoomi is proudly associated with A.R.Rahman’s growth and wishing him all the best for his future endeavors and MARG Swarnabhoomi is gladly associated with him.
Today’s stress buster for many people is any kind of physical activity like playing any kind of sport or working out in gym. Mostly people prefer cricket as an option because in the process they enjoy what they are doing by learning the trick of success and failure. Cricket is an outdoor game played in any kind of open area which is spacious to accommodate the players and the audience. Nowadays many organizations choose cricket as a stress-buster which will also build a healthy platform between two different organizations and they get to know each other better. On the other hand it builds a healthy competition between the organizations to perform better each time. A cricket match held recently between Marg ProperTies and Lancor Housing in Chennai on 26th January 2010 which is a debut match for MARG ProperTies.
MARG always has a wonderful inbuilt team which brings rewards to the organization by participating in various multi-faceted activities. Marg is being successful in all its missions and they have proved this once again in their first Cricket Match against Lancor Housing. The team even had good wicket takers with players like Sathish CS Ranjit Sankar, Sabu George and Jaison. The team had good cheering support from their motivating colleagues on that day and it landed up to be a perfect entertainer and a good gathering for all of them on a holiday. I am sure through this cricket match MARG has found some good sportsmen in their team and looking forward to encourage their talents through various other activities like this in future.
