Marriage is one of the key Life Stage Requirement. For enabling a hurdle free marriage there are various Prarthanas which are offered. Kalyanamalai being in Matrimonial services with focus on Tradition and Culture considers as its responsibility to conduct such Parthanas for community benefit. The demand for such Prarthana is increasing as ‘Community Prayer’ is believed to benefit multi-fold than individual prayers.
A grand Vivaha Prarthana is planned in Chennai for the September 19, 2010. The approach is to offer ’1 Crore Nama Prarthana’ which is to be offered through 10,000 people each participating and doing a 1008 nama Archana (Sahasranamam). Activities have commenced for the purpose of the event.
The contents of the Vivaha Prarthana will be:
Pooja – 1 Crore Nama Prarthana
Homam – Swayamvara Parvathi Homam
Community Prayer
These will be conducted on a single day for and on behalf of all the participants in the Prarthana
