Jagjit Singh the celebrated Ghazal singer may perhaps not be singing frequently for Bollywood films, nevertheless when it comes to performing for singer-composer Roop Kumar Rathod, he has no reservations.
Jagjit Singh gave a vocal performance for a piece of music in Anup Das’ Life Express, This marked the come back of Rathod as a music composer after a long gap.
Jagjit Singh says, “Roop is like a younger brother to me. This is his third film as music director and my second song with him.
He has composed some very good music for the film. Especially, my song. It is not at all complicated.”
Life Express is the story of two women coming from diametrically opposite backgrounds and deals with the sensitive subject of surrogacy. I wish this film does well.”
