Director Bharathiraja is a critically acclaimed South Indian filmmaker.He displayed a story-teller’s potential from an early age. Bharathiraja is known for his realistic and sensitive portrayal of village-life in his movies.His mother Karuththamma received the National Award from the President on his behalf for his film named after her. Among his other landmark films are Muthal Mariyathai (with Sivaji Ganesan in the lead), Karuththamma, Alaigal Oivathillsai, Mann Vasanai, Vedham Pudhithu, Kizhakku Cheemayile and Anthimanthaarai.
KavignarThamarai(தாமரை) is a famous tamil lyricist. She is notable for her lyrics in purest tamil. Her turning point is the mega hit song ‘Vaseegara’ from Minnale movie. Following that she has written lyrics for many movies, mostly for director Gautham Menon in Harris Jeyaraj music.
Vikram is an Indian film actor, playback singer, voice actor and film producer in Tamil cinema. He made his debut in the 1990 film En Kadhal Kanmani, which was followed by a series of low-budget Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films throughout the early decade. After the critical and commercial success of Sethu (1999) he has been part of numerous other commercially successful films and has earned major critical acclaim for many of his performances. His latest movie being Ravanan (Tamil).
Priyamani is an Indian film actress and model who has appeared in several Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language films. She is best known for earning a National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran. (Directed by Ameer Sultan) Priyamani is Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s cousin.)
Suchitra Karthik Kumar is an Indian Radio Jockey and a playback singer. She has appeared in a few Kollywood films, but her main priority is singing and anchoring radio shows. Prior to embarking on a singing career, she appeared as a music radio jockey on Mirchi FM.At present she is working in another private radio channel in Chennai. She had also anchored several TV shows.
Harish Raghavendra is an Indian vocalist and actor from Chennai, India. Harish is considered to be one of the professional singers in Tamil Music Industry as he has sung many wonderful hits for the major music directors. He has also judged many reality shows along with few other famous singers like Anuradha Sriram & so on. Harish has also done a number of live concerts in certain countries as well.
Santhanam is a popular Tamil comedian and film actor in Tamil cinema. He has appeared in a whole range of films mostly as a friendly comedian. His fame started off in the television sitcom Lollu Sabha and popularity from the small screen level brought him to silver screen. He debuted in Manmadhan in 2004 and later appeared in several comedy and drama films. His acting style is very similar to the veteran comedian Goundamani.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) event is part of ‘FETNA Tamil Vizha 2010’scheduled for July 03, 2010 – July 05, 2010 in Palace Theater, Waterbury, CT , North America. MARG ProperTiesis proud to be associated with this event. FeTNA, in collaboration with Hospital of Saint Raphael, New Haven, CT. will bring a comprehensive CME program on Sunday, July 4th 2010. The half a day, five hour educational course is designed to provide the attendees with an update on Endocrine, Metabolic, Infectious, Urological, Neurological, Gynecological and Dermatological disorders to the South East Asian Population. Target audience of this event is Primary care Physicians, allied healthcare professionals and general public.
Accreditation Statement: The Hospital of Saint Raphael in collaboration with FeTNA offers a maximum of 5 AMA PRA Category I Credits to CME registering physicians only. The physicians should claim only the hours of their participation and a CME certificate will be provided at the end of the conference. FETNA Tamil Vizha 2010 event sponsored by MARG ProperTies is going to held in palace theater, Waterbury, CT , North America. The Palace Theater’s vision is to stimulate a cultural and economic renaissance in the region through the celebration of arts, education and community. Their mission is to build a strong sense of community and an appreciation for the arts by operating, maintaining and sustaining the Palace Theater as a financially viable not-for-profit performing arts center that provides positive artistic, cultural, educational, social and financial impact to the Greater Waterbury area.
The Palace Theatre has recently undergone $30 million dollar restoration project. This former vaudeville house located in Waterbury, Connecticut is now the largest performance stage house, measuring 5,000 square feet, in the state. The seating capacity is 2,565.
